Kathy Agacinski, Receptionist
Hello, my name is Kathy and I've been working in the Veterinary field as a receptionist/assistant since 1996. My family and animals are what I live for. My family includes a great hubby; a smart and sassy 8 year old daughter named Ashley and a spoiled rotten Shepherd mix named Ceasar. I recently adopted a very active kitten named Oliver and he gets along wonderfully with Ceasar. I have been working here at Advanced Animal Hospital since January 13, 2006 and I love it. I love being the one who gets to give all the animals extra hugs and attention. We treat all the pets here like they are our own family and I can't wait to meet and greet your pets too!!
Emilie Evenson, Veterinary Assistant
Hello! I'm Emilie, and I'm very excited to be helping you and your pets at Advanced! It is wonderful to be at a clinic where everyone loves the patients and pet parents as much as we do at AAH. I have a Bachelors degree in animal science from Michigan State and have been working in the veterinary field since 2002. My professional interests include behavior and exotic animal medicine. My hobbies include collecting rare books, training racehorses, and judging fancy rat shows (yes, really!) I share my home with a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Scooby, a portly cat named Emmitt, a large fish tank full of catfish, and three house rabbits: Connor, Arthur, and Mr. Jazz Hands. I'm thrilled to be a part of Advanced Animal Hospital and to meet you and your furry family members!
Cindy Barrow, LVT
Hi, I'm Cindy and I am new to the Advanced Animal Team. I have been a Veterinary Technician since 2006 where I graduated from Macomb Community College. This is my second career, as I used to work in the automotive industry. I have also done an internship at the Detroit Zoo which was a chance of a lifetime. I currently have been a volunteer at Leader Dogs for the Blind for the last year. This is very rewarding knowing that the work they do greatly improves the lives of the visually impaired. I currently live on 8 acres with my husband, 5 children, dogs, cats, chickens, and horses.
Emily Trupiano, Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Emily and I have been working with animals since 2004. I'm very excited to be a part of the AAH team! I'm very passionate about pet nutrition and oral health, and I love learning new things everyday about the veterinary field. My "kids" include a very bossy Welsh Corgi named Rex, a gentle Ragdoll mix named Stella, and a very determined and deviant deaf cat named Finnegan. I also have a turtle named Mickey and a rat named Daphne. In my spare time I enjoy hoarding antiques, doing collage, and photography--which I have my bachelors degree in!
